Detailed itinerary of 6 Days Uganda Safari, Gorillas, Wildlife & Chimps
Day 1: Kampala-Kibale National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast after which you will be met by your guide who will transfer you from Kampala to Kibale Forest via Fort portal and through the rolling hills of the western region of Uganda. You will have en-route lunch and when you arrive in the park, you will go for a visit to the crater lakes area. Also you will get a chance to see the terraced tea estates. Have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kibale forest- Chimpanzee trekking & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, set out with your driver guide and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzees. After briefing, at around 8:00 am start trekking through the rainforest as you will be guided by the park rangers.
It is always a thrilling and an unforgettable experience meet the chimpanzees face to face and watch them go on with their daily activities like playing, jumping, feeding among others.
Day 3: Game drive & Launch cruise
Be early to raise, have a cup of coffee and set out for a game drive where you will see some early risers along the Kasenyi track such as Elephants, antelopes, solitary buffaloes, lions, warthogs, as well as birds.
After the game drive which takes 2 to 3 hourhead to the lodge for a short rest and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel. The cruise is one of the amazing safari activities to enjoy in Queen Elizabeth National Park, as you cruise on the calm waters you will enjoy watching elephants, buffaloes along the banks, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks and birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park going through the Ishasha Sector where you can get a glance at the tree climbing lions and other wildlife calling the sector home.
Along the way you will enjoy views of the landscape, have en-route lunch and continue to the park arriving in the afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at the lodge enjoying the surrounding, later have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Bwindi forest-Gorilla trekking and a visit to Batwa Community
Wake up early for breakfast and thereafter head to the Park Headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch box. Briefing about gorilla trekking starts by 7:30 am, a senior warden will brief you about the dos and donts of gorilla trekking. In groups of 8 people, you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek and enter into the forests led by an armed ranger guide.
The trek usually takes between 2 to 6 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night, when you locate them you are allowed to spend only one hour in their presence observing them go on with their lives, grooming each other, take amazing pictures.
Later return to the starting point, meet your guide and head to the Batwa Community for a visit. Here you will be entertained by local dances and drama and interact with the locals giving you a deeper insight into the lives of the local people. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and at the Equator for foots. When you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport to catch your departure flight back home.
