Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Masai Mara Flying Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara
To start your safari, you will be collected from your hotel in Nairobi or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and transfer you to the domestic Wilson Airport, where you have to report 45 minutes to one hour prior to your flight.
Board your morning flight to Masai Mara, flying time is approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Masai Mara at the airstrip, you will be received and transferred to your overnight lodge by our Driver – guide.
Experience your first game drive late afternoon during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Mara and see its amazing wildlife. Return to the lodge by evening typically 6 to 6.30 pm in time for dinner.

Day 2: Enjoy Full Day in Masai Mara
You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Enjoy Full Day in Masai Mara
Full day in Masai Mara. Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. Most animals in Masai Mara are active at this time of the day and you therefore are likely to see plenty of game. Return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast. You may schedule a visit to a nearby Maasai Village, this typically one hour visit provides a fascinating insight into the day to day life of the famous Kenyan tribes, the nomadic Maasai. You also get to see their unique mud dwellings – the Manyatta huts.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon safari in the reserve. Return to the lodge by evening at around 6 to 6: 30 pm in time for a relaxed evening, followed by dinner.
Overnight stay at Keekoroko Lodge
Day 4: Return to Nairobi
Bid farewell to Masai Mara. After a relaxed breakfast and checkout, you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your 10.30 am flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, our Driver – guide will be waiting for you at Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. In case you wish to explore some of Nairobi’s attractions, then do let us know in advance and we can add these activities into the schedule at an extra cost before dropping you off at the airport for your return international flight.
