Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Rowin Africa guide greets you with a big smile “Karibu Tanzania” – Welcome to Tanzania. The guide takes you straight to your hotel in Arusha where you can relax and take in the African atmosphere. Enjoy an evening of relaxation at the lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Discover Mto Wa Mbu in a Tuktuk
Spend the day in Mto Wa Mbu discovering the Tanzanian way of cooking, smack in the middle of a banana farm. Pick three local dishes and see and learn how they are prepared. Learn to cook pilau (spiced rice) makande (corn and brown beans in a lovely mix) or ndizi nyama (Plaintains with meat) and get a taste of Tanzania.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

Day 4: Gibb’s Farm walk & lunch

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Explore the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the wondrous caldera of the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Start your game drive early when animals are plenty and tourists are few in the crater floor, feel the little hairs on your arms rise as you descend into the crater, awed by the sight of clouds hovering and the numerous animals in sight.
Animals like hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles and many more animals can be found here and you are almost guaranteed to see all of them.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Fly into Serengeti National Park – the epitome of safari, see the infamous Big Five in all their glory, and in certain months, wildebeests running by thousands in the Great Migration. Even without the migration, Serengeti is a big cat paradise with prides of lions on Kopjes, cheetahs in the long, yellow grasses and leopards.
