Detailed itinerary of 7 Days Safari Tanzania
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our Rowin Africa guide and transfer you to your hotel of stay in Arusha. If you arrive earlier you will go for a short city tour in Arusha visiting some of the amazing attractions in the city such as Cultural Heritage Centre.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, checkout and embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park – home to the rare tree climbing lions and a beautiful alkaline lake which hosts thousands of pink flamingoes on its shores.
Lake Manyara National Park lies between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, right along the 400 meters deep Great Rift Valley. The park boasts a variety of landscapes that attracts different animals, during your safari in the park you will visit Lake Manyara, drive through a dense rainforest with hundreds of monkeys and birds, see elephants up close in the woodlands and visit the renowned Manyara Hippo Pool with many hippos bathing from early morning to late evening.

Day 3-4: Serengeti National Park (central west/east)
Spend these two days exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, widely known as the place to go on safari primarily because of the Great Migration and The Big Five, the migration passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive to watch as vast amount predators that live here. Over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs and other beautiful animals which your guide will be delighted to search for you during the game drives.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)
The famous Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago following the eruption of the vast caldera.
The fertile lava which was left behind has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa, once in the crater you will enjoy sightings of animals such as lions, zebras, buffaloes and black rhinos freely roaming the crater. Also visit Lake Magadi, an alkaline lake where you will see thousands of flamingoes.

Day 6 – 7: The last day and your flight home from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport
Depending on your flight time, you can relax at your lodge for a lit bit longer enjoying the serenity of the lodge and take advantage of the swimming pool, later embark on a journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be dropped off to catch your onward flight home.
If you have second thoughts, it is possible to add a few days to your Tanzania holiday by flying to one of Tanzania’s magical islands such as Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia. This brings your holiday to an end.
