Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Masai Mara Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara
Your Driver-Guide picks you up from your hotel in Nairobi to start the safari, with a 8 am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya’s famous game reserve.
You will stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the largest valley in the world, visible from the outer space. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch.
Later go for an afternoon game drive starting at 3.30 pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as lions, leopards to rhinos, elephant and wildebeests. Your driver-guide will try his best to show you the animals in the reserve.

Day 2: Full Day Game drives in Masai Mara
Today you will have two game drives, one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
Early mornings and late afternoons are considered to best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if traveling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some days of your Masai Mara Safari.
You may choose to have a full day game drive – one for the whole day with packed lunch. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Enjoy Full Day in Masai Mara
Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15 am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the great wildlife in Masai Mara National Reserve. After a relaxed breakfast, proceed for a transfer to your another camp in Masai Mara nestled in the riverine forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, its waters teeming with birdlife, hippo and crocodiles.
Arrive at the camp late morning, checking in after which you enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30 pm, allowing you explore further parts of the reserve. Then you return to your camp by 5 pm in time for tea and coffee.

Day 4: Enjoy a Maasai Village Visit and Nature Walk
You may choose to have a morning and afternoon game drive or even head out for a long day game excursion with a packed picnic lunch in the reserve.
Today’s available optional activities are the Maasai Village Visit and Nature Walk offered at an additional cost.
The Maasai Village Visit lasts an hour done in a village on the outskirts of the reserve, will give you a glimpse into the fascinating way of life of the Maasai, a nomadic warrior tribe of Kenya. During the course of the day, if may choose to book a nature walk allowing you to closely observe and learn about the local flora and fauna within the vicinity of the property.
Enjoy your afternoon safari game drive in the reserve during which you will get to spot some of your favorite wildlife. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast and checkout, proceed with a return road transfer back to Nairobi with a brief morning game drive en-route. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon, drop off at your hotel, or onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
