Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Kenya Safari
Day1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your driver guide will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or hotel for start of the safari. Depart for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya’s famous game reserve.
Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30 pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the Big Five animals but the Big Nine as well. Return to your tented camp.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
Today you will have two game drives, one in the morning before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if traveling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full day game drive with packed lunch.
Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
Today your safari takes you to Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for both locals and foreigners. Arrive in time for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, your booked lodge offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs. Also you may choose to have a one hour Lake Boat Safari during which you get to see some of the lake’s wildlife such as hippo as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
Today you can enjoy a relaxed breakfast as you only need to start your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park by 9 am after breakfast. Lake Nakuru is not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site but also a Bird & Rhino Sanctuary where you also get to see Lion and Leopard.
Arrive by midday and proceed to your booked accommodation for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic including visits to viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities. Return to the lodge/camp in the evening.

Day 5: Departure
Wake up early for a 6.30 am game drive which will conclude your safari tour. Following breakfast and checkout, you now head back to Nairobi with brief stops along the way at the Rift Valley Escarpment. Arrive in Nairobi 3 hours later. Onward drop-off transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home or drop-off at your overnight hotel.
