Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari
Day 1: Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park
Our guide/driver will pick you from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala and transfer you to Entebbe International Airports to catch up with a scheduled flight to Kidepo Valley National Park.
Flight time at 1230 arriving at 1445.
Kidepo Valley National Park is a completely different world of vast plains, in spring view from every vantage point with a lot of wildlife as you drive into the park, the park offers breathtaking open savannah which is surrounded by spectacular mountain landscape nowhere to be seen in Africa.
Kidepo Valley National Park is the second biggest national park in Uganda and one of Africa’s finest wilderness areas.
Upon arrival, you will head to your lodge for check and freshen up as you get ready for an an evening game drive in the Narus Valley in search for the lions, Jackson hartebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, leopard and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Full Day Kidepo Valley National Park Safari – Game Driver & Visit to Kanangorok Hot Springs
Wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive, catch the sunrise behind the mountain before flooding the valley then off for the game drive to the ostrich farm it. Given the massive numbers of birds, herds of elephants, cape buffaloes, giraffes, lions you will have an amazing experience.
Return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you in contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenga and Kapedo, meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you how the kraals, the grinding stone and many more interesting items.

Day 3: Kidepo Valley National Park – Guided Nature Walk
After an early breakfast, you will be joined by an expert ranger guide for a nature walk to explore Kidepo Valley National Park for a nature walk to explore the park on foot away from the safari vehicle sharing his knowledge of the eco-system and also bring you closer to the animals and several birds. Lookout for Eastern Chanting Goshwak, Grasshopper Buzzard, Montague’s Harrier, Fan Tailed Raven and the very rare Stone Partridge.
Spent the afternoon in relaxation and sightseeing around the lodge.
Overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge

Day 4: Departure
On this last day of 4 Days Kidepo Valley National Park, have early breakfast and head for a morning game drive giving a chance to see elephants, buffaloes and several antelopes as you drive towards Katarum gate.
After the game drive, you will be driven to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe International Airport and connect for your departure flight back home.
