Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
You will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon arrival and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a small, scenic national park situated in the Rift Valley region, along the way to the park you will enjoy splendid landscapes and the countryside of Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge after check-in, then go for an afternoon game drive exploring the park, during the game drive expect to see abundant wildlife including flamingoes, rhinos, leopards, hyenas and array of antelopes such as impalas, gazelles, Rothschild Giraffe, waterbucks and dik diks.
You will also visit Lake Nakuru for sights of amazing populations of flamingoes which is a highlight of the safari. Flamingoes are attracted to the lake by the abundant supply of green algae in the soda rich waters of the lake. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru National Park for Maasai Mara National Reserve, it is a journey of approximately 4 hours through the floor of the Great Rift Valley and western escarpments which were formed over centuries ago as a result of the natural shifting of the earth’s tectonic plates.
You will arrive in time for lunch and in the afternoon you will proceed to the reserve for a game drive in the savannah plains of Maasai Mara – the gem of African wilderness. During the game drive lookout for several animal like lions, leopards, cheetahs, cape buffaloes, zebras, giraffes among others in their natural habitat among others.
Dinner and Overnight at Mara Sentrim Camp

DAY 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast and head out of the reserve with a short en-route game drive and head to the Masai Village for a culture experience. Here you will be entertained by local dances and drama, take part in livestock rearing among others. Later embark on a journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure flight back home or at your hotel.
